Web Company Recommends Five Funds
April 19, 1999
MutualDiscovery.com of Philadelphia has recommended five mutual funds for 1999, based on a proprietary indicator that tracks equity trading. Called The Steinberg Indicator, it is named for Jeffrey Steinberg, chairman and ceo of the company.
"Based on the success of the Steinberg Indicator in picking stocks that have significantly outperformed the market, we have developed another model to use the same methodology to highlight mutual funds with the highest rated stocks as their holdings," Steinberg said.
His company's picks include: Berger Growth & Income, Invesco Blue Chip Growth, One Group Large Company Growth, Regions Growth Fund and Trainer Wortham First.
