American Skandia Advisor Funds Reach $3 Billion in Assets

American Skandia Life Assurance of Shelton, Conn., announced that its family of American Skandia Advisor Funds attained $3 billion in assets on Sept. 27.
The funds reached the $3 billion figure faster than any other mutual fund complex in history, according to data provided by Financial Research Corporation of Boston, said David Norman, a spokesperson for American Skandia. The funds also reached the $1 billion and $2 billion marks faster than any other fund complex, he said.
