Asset Manager Account customers of T. Rowe Price of Baltimore, Md. can now use the Internet to trade mutual funds in the T. Rowe Price fund supermarket.
Asset Manager Account customers can go online to purchase, redeem and exchange shares in the 1,000 funds available through T. Rowe's Mutual Fund Gateway Supermarket. The supermarket offers funds from more than 80 fund companies.
Most funds are available without a transaction fee; others can be traded for $35 per transaction, the company said.
The web site includes a new interactive function called Gateway Fund Search, through which investors can obtain Morningstar ratings, top portfolio holdings and fund strategy summaries for the funds in the supermarket.
