Neuberger Berman Snags Two

Neuberger Berman has hired two new executives and an analyst for the Wealth Management Group of its Trust Companies. Ralph Sinsheimer has joined as senior VP and Stephen Wells has assumed the newly created position of COO. Both have most recently served as managing directors at OFFITBANK.

"Stephen Wells and Ralph Sinsheimer have solid experience and stellar reputations in the wealth management arena," head of the Private Asset Management Group Heidi Schneider said in a statement. The additions to the company are part of an effort to target "the upper echelon of high-net-worth clients," she added.

Sinsheimer had been director of marketing and philanthropy management at OFFITBANK, where he helped develop the firm's non-proprietary alternative investment products. Previously, he served as VP at Loomis, Sayles & Co. and chief marketing officer for the firm's fund family.

At OFFITBANK, Wells handled legal and compliance issues for the bank and its mutual funds. He also oversaw fiduciary investment advisory, trust administration and insurance products. Wells has also worked at Morgan Stanley Asset Mgt., Goldman Sachs Asset Mgt., and Gabelli & Co.
