Fidelity Names Director

Fidelity Investments has appointed Christophe Gloser as director of its institutional fund management business in France, the company announced.

Gloser will report to James Stewart, managing director of Fidelity's institutional business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, as well as to Phillippe Nahum, president of Fidelity's Paris-based unit. "

"France is one of our rapidly growing European markets with increasing opportunities in the institutional sector," said Stewart. "Christophe's experience and contacts in the French market will be invaluable to the development of our business going forward."

Prior to joining Fidelity, Gloser served as head of institutional and corporate sales for Dresdner Asset Management since 1994. Previously, he was a fixed income fund manager with Segespar.
