BISYS Hires New VP Of Business Devlopment
February 11, 2002
BISYS, the New York-based mutual fund service company, has named George Evans head of business development for the company's investment services group.
Evans will be responsible for sales, marketing, strategic planning, product development and the development of intra-company sales opportunities, according to BISYS.
The position was newly created and will encompass both mutual fund and 401(k) business, said Bill Tomko, president of BISYS Investment Services group. Evans will report directly to Tomko.
"We thought it made a lot of sense to have one person in charge of business development for all of our businesses," Tomko said. "There's a lot of crossover."
Evans served most recently as senior VP of investor services for J.P. Morgan. There he was responsible for global business development, internal and external marketing, and communications.
