Diversified Announces Executive Changes
February 25, 2002
Diversified Investment Advisors, an advisory firm specializing in retirement plans, has promoted two executives to top positions.
Mark Mullin, Diversified's CIO, has been named CEO of the company. He replaces Tom Schlossberg, who has served as CEO since 1990. Schlossberg is moving to AEGON, Diversified's parent, where he will be head of group pensions for AEGON USA as well as CEO of Transamerica Retirement Services, another AEGON subsidiary.
Mullin has been a member both of Diversified's executive committee, which develops the firm's business strategies, and the board of trustees for the Diversified Investment Advisors Funds Group.
Also, Peter Kunkel has been named Diversified's COO. Kunkel was most recently VP of client management and participant services at Diversified. He was also responsible for product development and strategic planning of the firm's corporate defined contribution group.
