McColgan Officially Named Head of Fidelity Brokerage

Ellyn McColgan has been appointed president of Fidelity Brokerage Co., the retail and institutional brokerage arm of fund giant Fidelity Investments. She previously served as president of Fidelity Financial Intermediary Services, which includes the firm's institutional services company and Fidelity Investments Canada Ltd. She replaces Kevin Kelly.
In her new role, McColgan will oversee the marketing and distribution of Fidelity's retail mutual funds, its fund supermarket, brokerage firm and a custody service for registered investment advisors. Fidelity Brokerage is responsible for $700 billion in assets and 16 million customer accounts.
