October 27, 2003
Deutsche Bank Private Wealth Management recently hired C. William Criss as managing director and head of its San Francisco office, a newly created position that the 33-year financial services veteran assumed last month.
In this position, Criss is charged with developing new business and relationship management throughout Northern California, and will serve as the bank's senior-most-ranking executive for its high-net-worth business in the region.
Criss was previously president and chief operating officer of JPMorgan Chase's J.P. Morgan Trust Co. He was with the firm for 26 years.
"We are pleased to welcome Bill as head of our strong Northern California team," said Gloria Nelund, head of Deutsche Bank Private Wealth Management in the U.S., in a statement. "Bill's leadership skills, his extensive private banking experience and his success in attracting prominent high-net-worth individuals and families will enhance our strategic wealth advisory offerings in this crucial market," Nelund said.
