As the trial against the former BoA broker accused of conspiring with Canary Capital to defraud $1 billion from mutual funds, begins in New York federal court, Sihpol faces 25 years in the slammer. With the exposure of The Canary Tapes [see MME 4/15/05], he gets caught in a boldfaced lie.
The former proprietor of Canary Capital and scion of Hartz Mountain Industries fame, may be lost, just to the west of Wall Street, over in Secaucus, N.J., but he is not forgotten.
