Kasina has hired Larry Petrone as head of research to meet the company's growing demand for its research and shifting industry needs.

According to the company, Petrone's expertise will help grow Kasina's research offerings and will allow its clients to better position their product development and distribution.

"We wanted to add an executive that has a deep understanding of the changing product and distribution landscapes," said Steven Miyao, Kasina's CEO.

"Larry will be responsible for growing our research offering and ensuring that our clients get the most timely and relevant research."

Petrone joins Kasina with over 15 years of experience working in the financial services industry and is experienced in supervising research staff, developing investment product and distribution research, delivering industry presentations and identifying attractive investment opportunities.

"Our industry's product needs are changing, there is increased interest in mitigating risk through the use of ETFs and alternatives, and Larry has an expert understanding of this shifting landscape."

Petrone comes to Kasina from FRC Research Corporation, where he was the director of research/senior consultant. He managed a team of senior research analysts, evaluated business strategy, product offerings and distribution capabilities of investment management.

"I am extremely excited about the greater impact our research will have for our clients. Larry will also bring added depth to our consulting practice, which has continued to grow as firms look to optimize the profitability of their distribution efforts," states Miyao. "We are thrilled to add Larry to the kasina family."
