Direxion Launches Six New Leveraged ETFs

Direxion has launched six new long and short exchange-traded funds tracking BRIC, India and the semiconductor industry, bringing the total number of leveraged ETFs it offers to 34.
The funds leverage the country benchmarks by 200% on the upside and downside and the semiconductor industry by 300%.
“Direxion strives to provide innovative investment solutions that enable investors to employ tactical portfolio strategies amid changing market conditions,” said Dan O’Neill, president of Direxion. “We have provided many industry ‘firsts.’ With this launch, we are pleased to offer the first 2x leveraged BRIC and India ETFs.”
