Henderson Beefs Up Social Media Strategy

Henderson Global Investors (North America) is expanding its mobile and social media strategy with a brand new and free iPad app.
The Chicago firm launched its Henderson Global Funds interactive iPad app to give clients access to Henderson investment commentary and videos to help them to track preferred funds. Users can view and share content via e-mail as well.
The app also provides monthly and quarterly standardized performance updates, fund fact sheets, monthly fund updates and presentations, as well as fund-specific information such as top holdings, allocations and investment processes, and the latest press releases, prospectuses and shareholder reports.
“Advisors and investors are becoming increasingly reliant on mobile apps for real-time information and the necessary perspective to put market trends into context,” said Alanna Nensel, director of U.S. retail marketing, in a press release.
“Our goal is to provide advisors with a deeper understanding of our investment products and strategies, but also to facilitate efficient ways for them to deliver that information to their investor clients.”
